The leather used for the Eames Chair seat cushions is something very special. It is vegetable tanned cow neck leather with a thickness of about 3.5 mm from southern Germany. The leather is softly milled and has a strong, unique structure created by the distinctive skin folds of the belted necks of cattle. These girdle necks are among the most valuable parts of a leather hide. The leather stands for durability and sustainability and comes from a tannery with a long tradition, a 4th generation family business. With use, the leather darkens and develops an even more beautiful patina. You have the choice between the colors brown, cognac and black.

Eames Chair seat cushion - Top leather bottom wool felt.

On the top of the seat cushion you can choose the color of the leather according to your taste. The bottom is made of high quality 3 mm felt, available in our full range of colors. The felt is 100% wool and is made in Germany.

To ensure that the seat cushions do not slip on the Eames seat shells, you have the option to add a natural latex anti-slip coating.

For matching, we will provide you with color samples for a small contribution.
